General Information
School Hours: 7:00 am – Breakfast | 7:25 am – School Begins | 2:55 pm – School Dismisses

To help keep our lunchtime procedures consistent and running smoothly, elementary campuses will no longer accept outside, restaurant-type food dropped off at the front office for student lunches. Parents may still bring lunch kits if forgotten, and birthday treats are still allowed to be brought to share with the class. If parents/grandparents attend lunch with their child on their assigned grade-level day, they are permitted to bring outside food with them. We truly appreciate your understanding and partnership!

Teacher Conferences
Vidor ISD would like to remind parents and guardians of their right to attend any scheduled parent-teacher conferences and to request additional conferences as needed. To schedule a telephone or in-person meeting with a teacher, school counselor, or principal, please contact the school office to make an appointment (951-8860). The teacher will typically return your call or meet with you during their conference period, before school, or after school. Thank you for your support as we continue to inspire, educate, and prepare our students for their futures.
Volunteering at Oak Forest
We have an active and growing Volunteer Program just waiting for you to join. We invite you to join, support and be active in our Parent Teacher Organization. Schools with active PTO's are stronger and provide more opportunities for school and community cooperation.
